Loot Llama MOD

People started asking me for the Loot Llama pattern another crafty person have made it from my Lorenzo Pattern so I’ve decided add a Loopy version to my Lorenzo, and here is the MOD to make that into a Loot Llama.

MATERIALS
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in Lt. Purple, Dk. Purple, Lt. Blue, Dk. Blue, Brown, and Tan
Felt: Small amounts of felt in White, Black, Tan, and Brown.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Follow instructions for Loop-renzo, with the follow color changes:

LEGS
Rnds 1-3: Brown
Rnds 4-11: Dk. Blue

BODY
Rnds 1-2: Lt Purple
Rnds 3-4: Dk Purple
Rnds 5-6: Dk Blue
Rnds 7-8: Lt Blue
Rnds 9-10: LT Purple
Rnds 11-12: Dk Purple
Rnds 13-14: Dk Blue
Rnds 15 and seam to 1st rnd of neck: Lt Blue
Switch to Lt. Purple for remaining rounds.

MOUTH:
Use Lt. Purple yarn

Ch4
Start from 2nd chain from hook, HDC2, SC3 times into last chain, on the other side of the chain, HDC2

Break yarn, leave long tail for sewing.  Attach to underside of head, use pictures as reference.

TAIL
Cut 5 pieces of Lt. Purple yarn approx.. 6” each, attach to behind similar to crocheting a fringe onto a scarf.  Trim off excess.

BAG
Use Tan yarn

Pouches (make 2)
Ch9
Rnd 1: Start from 2nd chain from hook, SC 7, SC3 into the last stitch, on the other side of the chain, SC7, SC2 into the last stitch [18]
Rnds 2-11: SC around [18]

Lightly stuff the pouch with Polyfil.

Flatten the pouch. If your last stitch is not at the corner, SC to the corner, and stitch close the opening by SC into both sides 8 times.  Break yarn and weave in ends.

Belt
SC 4 centered on one pouch. Ch1, Turn

Repeat until belt is about 2-1/2” long, or about 16 rows.  Break yarn, leave along tail for sewing.

Attached end of the belt to the second pouch.
Cut out felt pieces and glue onto Llama.  Use pictures as reference.
